What you need to know prior & during your membership:

To Join
  1. Read through Member Guidelines below
  2. Fill out the Sign-Up Form. 
  3. Board members will review. Note: A goal of Arise Women is to have 1 excellent person in every category of business, which insures that the members can refer you easily because of the high quality and integrity of your work and there isn't any competition in categories between members.  If we love you and your business but your category is filled, you may ask to be put on a wait list incase the category opens.
  4. You will receive an acceptance or denial e-mail within a week of submission. 

Active Member

Being an active member is adhering to the following:
  1. Giving the value of $250 worth of product or service annually.  Due within 30 days from when you officially sign-up as a member & on your membership anniversary there-after. 
  2. ​Attending 9 out of the 12 meetings in person or zoom. 
  3. Following through with a referral action for all referrals.
  4. Update your "Offer" monthly on the Offer Date3 you are assigned.
  5. Log in & check our member's page weekly to see the updated Offers. ​​Then complete 2 Spread the Love Actions5 Weekly 

1. Cost

A Membership fee in US dollars is not charged, instead a yearly donation in the amount of $250 worth of products, services or good is required to be given to our AWEsome Boxes.  Products or service coupons/offers are due within 30 days of acceptance.

2. Meetings

We meet every month on the second
​Monday via Zoom &/or in-person at 7:30pm
Yes! We have a calendar to make it easy for you.
Using the calendar you are required to register & attend 9 out of the 12 meetings annually.

3. Referrals

We as Arise members offer referral incentives.

When you are logged in you are able to message each member directly through our website.  Please contact the member directly to let her know of your referral.

Active Referrals1  
The referrer receives a thank you gift from the member after the deal or purchase is concluded.
Gift ideas that would be acceptable would include, gift cards, item from other members business, credit to shop other member's business.  Monetary gifts must be approved by Board.


Inactive Referral2
Please remember that all referred business is good business and part of being a Member of Arise is to serve and give from your heart. So at the least please give a card of thanks.

4. Offer Date

You are assigned an Offer Date3 that you are responsible for updating monthly with a current offer, tip, advice, or anything pertaining to your business that you want to offer or spread the word on.

We suggest you look at a calendar & come up with a plan for 6-12 months prior to the month you're updating your offer for. This way you can see the major holidays & specials your business will want to run during different months of the year. 

5. Weekly Check In's

Please log in weekly to visit our members page to see all of the updated offers.  Then make at least 2 Spread the Love Actions for any business.

Spread the Love Action Ideas:
  • Share & tag a business on Facebook
  • Send a referral over to a member of someone you came in contact with that week.
  • Text a friend you are thinking about & tell them about an awesome business you support.
  • Share a great photo on instagram of an offer you saw updated on the members page. 

Future Fairs

We are so excited to offer a fair bi-annually in May & November. 
​Members will be be able to have a booth & we will advertise & invite the public!

Removal

We all must do our part to keep this membership active, fair & desired. 
  • If you cannot continue to be an active & fair participant in the group we will send a notice & you will have the opportunity to respond & act. 
  • If there is not any noticeable efforts made to become active & fair you will receive a termination of membership & your membership will be canceled, opening up the position for another woman. 
​We don't want to see you go, but if this isn't working for you & you aren't seeing the benefits please reach out & cancel your membership ahead of a notice so that you can offer your space to another woman on our wait list.  

Our Definitions:

1. Active Referral: is when a group member refers a person to another group member and a deal or purchase is made.
2. Inactive Referral: Member sends a referral but no deal or purchase is made, however you keep them as a potential client, customer.
3. Offer Date: A date you are responsible for updating each month with a current offer, tip, advice, or anything pertaining to your business that you want to offer or spread the word on.
4. Referral Action Giving a gift to the referring member with the appropriate gift dependant on whether it was active or inactive.
5. Spread the Love with Action:  post on social media, text, person to person, advertise, add to website, share, refer or anyway you are actively advertising about another business in this membership.
